Lotte Maja Bjerre, born in 1983, has been working as an artist for 12 years. She began by drawing on paper, depicting hairlike structures wrapped around objects. Since childhood, she has been obsessed with shiny objects, and her drawings aimed to capture softness and glossy, detailed structures. To bring her drawings to life, she started wrapping string around real objects. Her pieces are made from painted cardboard, wrapped with very thin, see-through nylon thread, allowing the cardboard's color to shine through. Mounted on wood, these artworks capture light and change intensity and color throughout the day.
