In this new body of work, Sofia Cacciapaglia explores forms of quiet strength, energies that do not impose themselves immediately, but unfold slowly until they become undeniable. Through vibrant floral fields, intertwined figures, and immersive large-scale compositions, her paintings create a continuous circulation of movement, colour, and presence. Working across both canvas and cardboard, the artist develops a language that oscillates between precision and spontaneity. While the canvases are constructed with a meditativeattention to balance and layering, the works on cardboard embrace a more instinctive gesture, engaging directly with the material’s folds, textures, and memory. In both cases, the works reveal a search for harmony: an attempt to let energy emerge without constraining it.
